Finally Facebook Introduces #Hash Tags Like Other Social Network Websites Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn. A hashtag is a word or a phrase prefixed with the symbol #. It represents to see a stream of images, posts and links. Hash tags will help to organize real time conversations around popular topics, such as current events and public personalities.  When you click on a hashtag in Facebook, you'll see a feed of what other people and Pages are saying about that event or topic.
Example: #socialmedia, #tech #business

Press Release:
Public Conversations on Facebook, Date 12 june 2013.

Every day, hundreds of millions of people use Facebook to share their thoughts on big moments happening all around them. Whether it’s talking about a favorite television show, cheering on a hometown sports team or engaging with friends during a breaking news event—people on Facebook connect with their friends about what’s taking place all over the world.

During primetime television alone, there are between 88 and 100 million Americans engaged on Facebook - roughly a Super Bowl-sized audience every single night. The recent "Red Wedding" episode of Game of Thrones, received over 1.5 million mentions on Facebook, representing a significant portion of the 5.2 million people who watched the show. And this year's Oscars buzz reached an all-time high on Facebook with over 66.5 million interactions, including likes, comments, and posts.

To date, there has not been a simple way to see the larger view of what's happening or what people are talking about.

To bring these conversations more to the forefront, we will be rolling out a series of features that surface some of the interesting discussions people are having about public events, people, and topics. As a first step, we are beginning to roll out hashtags on Facebook.

Introducing Hashtags on Facebook
Starting today, hashtags will be clickable on Facebook. Similar to other services like Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, hashtags on Facebook allow you to add context to a post or indicate that it is part of a larger discussion. When you click on a hashtag in Facebook, you'll see a feed of what other people and Pages are saying about that event or topic.

Now you can:
• Search for a specific hashtag from your search bar. For example, #NBAFinals.
• Click on hashtags that originate on other services, such as Instagram.
• Compose posts directly from the hashtag feed and search results.

As always, you control the audience for your posts, including those with hashtags.

Hashtags are just the first step to help people more easily discover what others are saying about a specific topic and participate in public conversations. We'll continue to roll out more features in the coming weeks and months, including trending hashtags and deeper insights, that help people discover more of the world's conversations.

Apple’s next big digital sales milestone is coming up quickly: 50 billion app downloads. Amazing. To celebrate this occasion, Apple is hosting a giveaway where one lucky winner (the person who downloads the 50 billionth app) will walk away with a $10,000 App Store credit. That's not all, the next 50 people after the grand prize winner will also earn a $500 gift card.

When Apple announced the giveaway, there were roughly 793 million downloads to go. For reference, it took about 15 days for people to download 700 million apps. Of course, the number of apps and the number of iOS devices have increased over the course of the past year which means we could see Apple announce winners within the next few days. :)

In announcing the giveaway, Apple also revealed their top 25 all-time free and paid apps for the iPhone and the iPad. Topping the paid charts for the iPhone was Rovio’s Angry Birds while Apple’s Pages app got the nod on the iPad. In the free app category, Facebook was the most downloaded app on the iPhone and Microsoft’s Skype was the top freebie for the iPad.

This isn't the first time that Apple has handed out prizes in celebration of specific milestones. Earlier this year Cupertino gave away a 10,000 Euro iTunes gift card to the lucky recipient that downloaded the 25 billionth song on iTunes. Last March, Chunli Fu from Qingdao, China, received a $10,000 gift card and a trip to an Apple Store to pick it up for downloading the 25 billionth app from the App Store.

That's not all, if you do not wish to download the app, you can enter directly.

Show the Windows Desktop with a new shortcut

Show the Windows Desktop with a new shortcut

If you’re anything like us, once you’ve installed a new operating system or bought a new PC, you start out organizing files and documents with the best of intentions. The easy way to access that debris field to find something—the Windows key + D combination, which minimizes all Windows for a clear view of the desktop—is a helper that most of us know.

Windows 7, though, lets you bring up the desktop without taking your hand off your mouse or pointing device—but it’s not obvious how until you stumble upon it. In the extreme lower right portion of the screen, at the far-right edge of the taskbar you’ll see a little vertical rectangle with a “glossy” finish. Hover the mouse pointer over it, and the Windows Desktop appears, letting you inspect it. (You’ll still see ghostly outlines of the windows you have open.) Move the mouse off the rectangle, and your windows reappear. You can also activate this via a keyboard shortcut: Windows key + spacebar.

How to COMPRESS 1GB Data into 10MB

It is a compression tool called KGB Archiver.

I compressed my software Cinema 4D which is 6.50 GB into 70MB!!!!
It is an open source compression tool like Alzip and winrar but the compression rate is much better then any other compression tool. It uses
AES-256 encryption to encrypt archives . The disappointing thing with KGB Archiver is due to its high compression rate its minimum hardware requirements is high (Recommend processor with 1.5 GHz and 1GB RAM) and compression and decompression process is time consuming. It basically works good with high PC configuration like if you have good Processor and high RAM then it's compression and decompression rate is much higher.

Strength:
Very high compression power with very accurate result and no loss of data.

Weakness:
Time consuming
